Despite my best efforts, my son’s diapers consistently leaked.Īfter a few nights of consistently waking up wet, preventing any chance of restful slumber, I gave up on that brand of diapers and promptly replaced them with Pampers. Unfortunately, those stockpiling efforts were a complete waste of time. I proudly stacked them in the closet, feeling accomplished with all the money I had saved. I bought the cheapest diapers I could find through sales and coupons and built a stockpile in various sizes. I didn’t go crazy, but I did amass a small mound of packages. Of course, I wanted to save money on diapers, and what better way to save than by taking advantage of promotional sales? I was already making a weekly trip to stores to stock up on household items for free or nearly free, so why not add diapers to the list of things I bought there? Before my first son was born (sometime around the beginning of my third trimester), I read a blog post about stockpiling diapers. ![]()
